巴哈欧拉的天启与贡献

Well it is with him who fixed his gaze upon the order of Baha’u’llah and rendereth thanks unto his Lord. For He will assuredly be made manifest. God hath indeed irrevocably ordained it in the Bayan. ——The Bab.

凡是注视巴哈欧拉的秩序并感谢他的主的人是好的，祂肯定将被上天显现。上天在《巴扬经》中已这样不可撤销地命定下来了。——巴孛。

I was but a man like others, asleep upon My couch, when lo, the breezes of the All-Glorious were wafted over Me, and taught me the knowledge of all that hath been. This thing is not from Me, but from One Who is Almighty and All-knowing. . . His all-compelling summons hath reached Me, and caused Me to speak His praise amidst all people. 

我和其他人一样，一个普通的人，卧在榻上，这时完全荣耀者的微风从我身上拂过，教导了我所有这些知识。这都不是我的，它来自那位全能者、全知者……祂无可抗拒的谕令传给了我，要我在人群中讲说祂、 赞美祂……——巴哈欧拉。

The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behoveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving kindness. Set it then before thine eyes. ——Baha’u’llah.

在我的眼里，最好的东西是正义。假如你渴慕我，就不要违背了正义。如此，我将在你心中倾吐。以正义之助你将可以用自己的眼睛看，而非通过他人的眼睛；你将知道自己的知识，而不是通过邻人的知识。在心中思量此事，以明白上天要你做个怎样的人。诚然，我把正义送给了你，这是我的礼物，也是我慈爱的表征，因此，把它放在你眼前吧。——巴哈欧拉。

My captivity can bring on Me no shame. Nay, by My life, it conferreth on Me glory. That which can make Me ashamed is the conduct of such of My followers as profess to love Me, yet in fact follow the Evil One. ——Baha’u’llah.

我的禁锢不会带给我耻辱，我以生命发誓，它反而给我带来荣耀。真正令我蒙羞的是我的信徒的一些行为，他们口口声声说爱我，实际上却听信于那邪恶者的指使。——巴哈欧拉。

He . . . prescribes the obligatory prayers; designates the time and period of fasting; prohibits congregational prayer except for the dead . . . formulates the law of inheritance; ordains the institution of the Mashriqu’l-Adhkar; establishes the Nineteen Day Feasts, the Baha’i festivals and the Intercalary Days; abolishes the institution of priesthood; prohibits slavery, asceticism, mendicancy, monasticism, penance, the use of pulpits and the kissing of hands; prescribes monogamy; condemns cruelty to animals, idleness and sloth, backbiting and calumny; censures divorce; interdicts gambling, the use of opium, wine and other intoxicating drinks . . . stresses the importance of marriage and lays down its essential conditions; imposes the obligation of engaging in some trade or profession, exalting such occupation to the rank of worship; emphasizes the necessity of providing the means for the education of children; and lays upon every person the duty of writing a testament and of strict obedience to one’s government. 

祂……定下了义务祷文及斋戒的时间和期限、禁止了集体崇拜，丧礼的祈祷除外……祂制定了财产继承法、规范了灵曦堂机构、创立了十九日灵宴会、巴哈伊节日和闰日、废除了教士制度、禁止了奴隶制度、出家苦行、乞讨、寺院修道、忏悔赎罪、讲坛说道、吻手等行为。祂也制定了一夫一妻制、谴责虐待动物、懒惰、说闲话、造谣诽谤、严厉批评离婚、禁止赌博、服用鸦片、酒及令人上瘾的饮料……祂强调婚姻的重要性，并列出它的必需条件；祂给我们加了一项义务，就是必须投身于某种贸易或专门事业，并把职业工作提升到等同于崇拜上天。祂强调我们必须提供便利的条件，让儿女们受教育。还有，每个人都有责任写一份遗嘱并严格地服从政府。

Apart from these provisions Baha’u’llah exhorts His followers to consort with amity and concord and without discrimination with the adherents of all religions; warns them to guard against fanaticism, sedition, pride, dispute and contention; inculcates upon them immaculate cleanliness, strict truthfulness, spotless chastity, trustworthiness; hospitality, fidelity, courtesy, forbearance, justice and fairness; counsels them to be ‘even as the fingers of one hand and the limbs of one body’ ——Shoghi Effendi.

除了这些条规，巴哈欧拉也嘱咐祂的追随者，要友好和睦不带歧视地与其他宗教信徒共同议事；警告他们不可狂热、煽动、傲慢、争论和搞分裂；循循善诱地教诲信徒们恪守圣洁、真诚、无瑕的贞洁、诚信、好客、忠诚、有礼、宽容自制、公正平等；劝告他们要彼此亲如一手之五指，一体之手足。 ——守基‧阿芬第。
