谈偏见

 ……As long as these prejudices prevail, the world of humanity will not have rest. For a period of six thousand years history informs us about the world of humanity. During these six thousand years the world of humanity has not been free from war, strife, murder and bloodthirstiness. In every period war has been waged in one country or another and that war was due to either religious prejudice, racial prejudice, political prejudice or patriotic prejudice. It has therefore been ascertained and proved that all prejudices are destructive of the human edifice. As long as these prejudices persist, the struggle for existence must remain dominant, and bloodthirstiness and rapacity continue. Therefore, even as was the case in the past, the world of humanity cannot be saved from the darkness of nature and cannot attain illumination except through the abandonment of prejudices and the acquisition of the morals of the Kingdom. ——Abdu’l-Baha..

……只要这些偏见继续存在的一天，人类世界将永无宁日。6千年的历史告诉我们，人类世界从来不曾免于战乱、倾轧、屠杀和暴行。在任何一个时期总有战事的发生，不是在这个国家，就是在那个国家。而且总是由于宗教、种族、政治或爱国主义的偏见引起。因此可以确定的说，并且证明了，一切偏见都是在摧毁人类的大厦。只要偏见存在的一天，谋求生存便总是人类主要的关注事项，而血腥暴行和贪婪无度总是阴魂不散。因此，今天，乃至过去，我们要把人类从黑暗中拯救出来，放到光明中去，除了摒除偏见，获取上天的德行这个途径，没有其他的方法。——阿博都-巴哈。

Wherefore, O my loving friends! Consort with all the peoples, kindreds and religions of the world, with the utmost truthfulness, uprightness, faithfulness, kindliness, goodwill and friendliness; that all the world of being will be filled with the holy ecstasy of the grace of Baha, that ignorance, enmity, hate and rancor may vanish from the world and the darkness of estrangement amidst the peoples and world may give way to the Light of Unity. ——Abdu’l-Baha.

因此，噢，我亲爱的朋友们！拿出你们最大的真诚、正直、忠诚、善良、善意、友爱，去跟全世界的民族和宗教人士打交道吧。如此，巴哈的优雅和欢乐将充满世界人民的心。而愚昧、敌意、仇恨、怨毒将从世间消失。团结之光将驱除人民之间阴沉沉的隔阂。——阿博都-巴哈。
