我跟你们在一起的日子不多了

朋友们！我跟你们在一起的日子不多了。凡是可以做的事我都做了，我已尽了一切的努力服务巴哈欧拉的圣道。在我的一生中，我日夜不停地工作。啊，我多么期盼我所热爱的朋友们，也将服务圣道的责任承担下来。现在，是宣扬巴哈的王国的时候了。

现在，是爱和团结的时刻！……

啊！我，我在等待，等待信徒们充分体现真诚和诚实和佳音，希望看到他们成为爱和和睦的化身、团结与和谐的活榜样。难道他们不想让我快乐吗？难道他们不想展现我的意愿吗？难道他们不想满足我心中的渴望吗？难道他们不愿意听从我的召唤？

我在等待，在耐心的等待着。

Friends! The time is coming when I shall be no longer with you. I have done all that could be done. I have served the Cause of Baha’u’llah to the utmost of my ability. I have labored night and day, all the years of my life. O how I long to see the loved ones taking upon themselves the responsibilities of the Cause! Now is the time to proclaim the Kingdom of Baha.

Now is the hour of love and union!..

Ah! Me, I am waiting to hear the joyful tidings that the believers are the very embodiment of sincerity and truthfulness, the incarnation of love and amity, the living symbols of unity and concord. Will they not gladden my heart? Will they not manifest my wish? Will they not fulfill my heart’s desire? Will they not give ear to my call?

I am waiting, I am patiently waiting.”
